Hello and welcome! Please let us know your questions about Adobe Campaign Standard, whether it be roadmap, transition, timing, etc.
Good morning/evening, everyone! What do you hope to learn or gain from today's chat?
Hi Everyone, anyone has the link to the event? I'm not able to join. Thanks!
I was also thinking this but then wasn't sure if actually this isn't a live event but a place to ask questions and have them answered on the page? Perhaps someone from Adobe can confirm?
Hi,
This is the event page. This Coffee Break is a chat event so, please feel free to drop your questions here in the chat.
Hi there, I had a question around the Connector between Adobe Campaign Standard and Dynamics 365. Will this be compatible with Adobe Campaign V8 and will it be part of the migration?
Hi! Yes, it will work with Campaign v8 https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/campaign/campaign-v8/connect/ac-crm/ac-ms-dyn.html?lang=en
Ah wonderful! Will this be handled as part of the transition Adobe side to set this up in Adobe Campaign V8?
We haven't decided on Dynamics 365 connector migration yet. Its not being widely used. So would be able to access better at the time of migration of instance requiring this feature.
Sorry just to clarify does that mean the connector will continue to be used in V8 or is that to be determined? And are you saying it will be assessed depending on our instance who will be handling the setup of this in V8?
It would not be supported via automated migration script. We would be able to suggest migration steps as we are closer to migrating the instance requiring the Dynamics 365 connector.
Thank you for confirming, that is useful for us to be aware of
Good morning - what ACS features are in the AC v8 roadmap? Does Adobe PM have a planned release date for multilingual mkt/transactional emails?
ACS features such as Dynamic Reporting, Centralized branding, Delivery Alerting, are already being built on Campaigns v8. Feature such as Multilingual support, A/B Testing, Transactional messages are in roadmap. We don't have the release date yet. But would communicate as soon as we are closer to completion.
I have 2 questions around specific ACS workflow activities such as External API, or the way External Signal works without variables coming from an End activity payload.
1) I assume those activities will exist in the new v8 UI to allow an automated migration from ACS to v8
2) Once migrated to v8, will those activities be available in the desktop version of v8, or will they be working only in the web UI?
Almost all activities will be supported in AC- Web UI. The activities supported in Web UI are being prioritized for Marketer Persona first and you would see all in Web UI being GAed on 14th Feb 2024. Next we are going ahead with activities that typically required more technical knowledge and would be supported on AC- Web UI soon.
Support for all activities will be available in desktop version of v8.
Almost all activities are being supported in v8 and hence all the workflows will be automatically migrated and work as expected in v8.
FYI - we update this FAQ page frequently (good to bookmark, or track): https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-campaign-standard-blogs/adobe-campaign-standa...
Hello there.
How long will it take, for objects created in the web UI, to be synced with ACC rich client and vice versa?
Its almost like a near real time sync. You will have to save the object in Web UI or console to be able to use it in a different interface.
Will the ACS Experience Cloud Triggers still be available in V8 UI too?
Thanks @btswann, @Madhupriya & @ArthurLacroix for taking out the time today to answer our queries. This was supremely helpful!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend this meeting. Do you have a recording link you can send.
Thanks,
- Mark
