Will the inclusion of DTM mbox in author and publish instances affects Target Activity Report ?

Hi,

This is regarding performing Target on AEM Pages using DTM.

We have added Test and Target tool in DTM Web Property, created a DTM Page Load Rule for creating mbox and included this mbox in an Adobe Target Activity. Now this DTM is getting fired on both author and publish instances. This might impacts Target Activity Report since mbox is getting included in both instance. How can we make sure that report only shows the data from publish instance ?

Conditions that I have put in DTM Page Load Rule:

If Path includes '/content/......page'  then fire this rule.

Please let me know how can I resolve this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi ,

I assume you have some prior knowledge about Hosts & Environment terminologies used in Adobe Target . If not , Please see the following link :

https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/target/ov2/c_hosts.html

https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/target/ov2/c_hosts-recognizing.html

https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/target/ov2/c_hosts-manage-hosts-and-host-groups.htm...

Hence go to Report Settings for your report which include the following options and then change the environment to the environment which only includes the publish instance as host

Graph View: Select the desired graph view:

Running Average
Running Average Lift
Daily
Daily Lift
Control: Select the control experience to use when calculating and comparing lift.

Environment: Select the environment (host group) to use for the report.

Thanks & Regards
