Adobe Target Error while saving the form based activity

Avatar

Level 2

Hi all — I’m getting an error when trying to save a form-based campaign in Adobe Target. Screenshot attached.

Error text: “Only characters within the Basic Multilingual Plane are supported. Characters outside of this plane typically show up as corrupted in the browser. Please remove them from any input field and try re-saving.”
Has anyone seen this specific error and found a reliable way to locate which field contains the non-BMP character?

Hi @DeepakUp

If you’re seeing this error, it’s likely because your script contains characters outside the UTF-8 range.
There might be possibility that in your form based campaign, the script you wrote has contain some invalid characters that cause issues when working with Target activities.

Please review your script carefully, identify any non-UTF-8 characters, and remove them.

In case if you would like to share the script / screenshot then will review.
Hope this helps!
