When setting up an activity and specifying the activity location, does Target ignore hashes in the URL?

Hi everyone!

When setting up an activity, if I specify a URL with a hash, will Target apply the activity to only page loads containing the hash, or will it apply it to the base URL ignoring the hash?

For example, if I set up my activity URL as www.example.com/contact#sales, will it only apply modifications here, or will it attempt to apply them to www.example.com/contact and all other variants e.g. #support, #finance, etc.?

The hash is part of the URL and I'm assuming Target performs a matching exercise against window.location.href when working out whether to deploy a test or not.
