Hello everyone,
I'm experiencing an issue with the VEC in the new Adobe Target UI and was hoping someone in the community might have a solution.
When I try to edit an existing experience that is part of an activity with multiple experiences, the VEC gets stuck on an infinite loading screen with the message "Applying initial modifications," as shown in the attached screenshot.
This issue seems to be specific to editing existing experiences. If I create a brand new activity, the VEC loads correctly. The problem only occurs when I go back into an activity to modify a specific experience.
So far, I have tried the following troubleshooting steps without any success:
Switching browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
Using incognito/private browsing mode.
Testing on different computers.
Using different user accounts.
The problem persists across all these scenarios, which suggests it might not be a local environment issue.
Has anyone else run into this specific problem with the new UI? Is there a known bug or a workaround to get past this loading screen?
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi @TNxx ,
Thanks for the suggestion.
Yes, the "Adobe Cloud Visual Editing Helper" extension is enabled and working. In fact, I know it's working correctly because if I create a new experience within the same activity, the VEC loads without any issues.
The problem occurs specifically when trying to edit an existing experience. It seems to be an issue related to reloading the already saved modifications.
Thanks for the help!

Hi @ZvoidZ
In recent updates team Adobe product team rolled out few fixes for the similar kind of issues you mentioned.
Here are the more details https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/target/using/release-notes/release-notes#target-standardp...
Check the VEC tab for all updates.
I would suggest clear cache and cookies and give a try. If the issue still persist then please raise a support ticket with Adobe support team.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Hi @Gokul_Agiwal ,
Thank you very much for your reply and for the link to the release notes.
Actually, I have already opened a support ticket with the Adobe team because, in addition to this loading issue when editing, I'm facing other instabilities. I have cases where experiences are simply disappearing from the activity, and others where the trigger is spontaneously switching from 'triggerview' to 'page load' on its own.
My reason for posting here in the community was to see if anyone else has experienced this and perhaps found a workaround to manage day-to-day work while I wait for a definitive solution from the engineers.
In any case, I really appreciate the help and guidance!
