Two activities with the same mbox but different audience

Avatar

My team and I want to create two activities that use the same mbox but we will add different audiences to each activity. Will this escenario be possible?

I ask this because we ant to test two different banners from our mobile app but they share the same JSON, we cannot divide the two of them so when we test them, we do both at the same time in the same activity and audience but we want to try to test them separately. One of our main concerns is that if we do the two activities, the reports will bring no information due to collisions but we are not sure. Both of the tests will be A/B manual.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @FerGarAlv ,

The same mbox can have multiple activities with difference in audience it completely depends on the usecasce.
As you want to test the same JSON, it means the section on the mobile app which you are targeting for both the activities on same component. Please check that audience are completely difference so there is no collision on two activities.

The reports will bring collision but it depends on the audience if you are making the audience geo-based than the collision will not be there as you are testing two activities on different geo-locations.
You can share the further details of the usecase so that we can check the possibility.

Hi @RaghavAggarwal ,

Thank you for your answer, the activity won't be geo-based but with two different groups of users, for example, for the fisrt activity we will have 10 users (identified with an special parameter) and for the second activity, another 10 users but both group of users will be on the same country and state.

You think this scenario will be possible or it would be better to test them separately?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @FerGarAlv ,

As per your usecase, the users will not interact and they are separate. So in this case also we can make the activities.
