Target recommendations - context of the viewed products

Hi, 

 

I would like to implement recommendations in Target. In other Marketing Automation tools except for feed OG tags are supposed to be implemented on product pages. It was required because tool need to map which product customer viewed on the www and mapped the to feeds in order to use in Recommendations. 

 

Is it the same with Target or Target needs only Feeds and then using URLs it will recognized which products customer has seen?
