Target Profile Lifetime with Customer Attributes or Bulk Profile Update

Avatar

Level 4

Hello,

I understand the Visitor's Profile in Target expires after 90 days of inactivity (my company had it extended from the default 14 days). My question is, does either (a) uploading a new file via the Custom Attributes feature or (b) uploading data via Target's Bulk Profile Update API, renew the Visitor Profile lifetime even if the users themselves do not visit the web property within the 90 days.

Thanks.

@KMarchewa  Yes , uploading a new file via the Custom Attributes feature or (b) uploading data via Target's Bulk Profile Update API, will renew the Visitor Profile lifetime even if the users themselves do not visit the web property within the 90 days.

You may also see the FAQ section of Customer attribute . The details are documented here : https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/core-services/interface/services/customer-attributes/faq-crs...

Hope this helps.
