Auto Personalisation preview not working. Returning empty offers

Avatar

Level 2

Hi

WE have setup both VEC and form based Auto personalisation activities, however we cannot see any of the experiences render with the preview links.

Inspections shows the offer coming in with empty array, so the html offers are not returned in the response.

We get the same if we throw the activity live too.

The activities have an all visitor audience, so there are no other restrictions as to why they are not returning.

Any idea anyone? is there a config switch we missed somewhere?

Hi Gavin,

Did you try turn on the match button when generate the preview links?

If above still didnt work, it might related to the version of at.js. From my past experience, higher version of at.js, might causing this issue. The work around would be:

Step 1: download the lower version of at.js, from Administration --> Implementation --> download at.js 1.8.3 and same it locally.

Step 2: open the downloaded at.js in text editor, and copy all

Step 3: open chrome console and paste and run copied at.js

Step 4: in the same browser window. paste the AP preview links and hit enter

this should give you the preview experience.

I hope this helps.

Thanks

Eugenia
