Using Adobe Analytics as the behavioral data source for Adobe Target allows you to leverage the view-based and/ or purchase-based behavioral data from Analytics in your Target Recommendations activities. 

This feature is especially helpful in circumstances where the Target Recommendations setup is new, and where Analytics has captured a significant amount of historical data to work with. Analytics' behavioral data may also include data from third-party sources or feeds that are shared only with Analytics.
