How to setup a Target for a pop-up ?

Hi Guys,

I have a pop-up in a page and I would like to setup a Target activity.

I've gone through the documentation (https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/target/target/t_test_ab.html) but not able to understand it completely.

Note:

  1. I would like to show this pop-up only for logged in customers. Yes, portal has a 'login' page.
  2. Please note that portal is configured only with Target - Launch setup (Adobe Analytics is not configured)

Can someone please help ?

Thanks

PV

Hi @prathiv23,

What is the page on which the pop up exists? Have you created an mbox on the pop up page?

How are you identifying logged in customers, are you passing an mbox parameter (Methods) or via customer attributes (Customer attributes)? Do you already have an audience created?

You can  use a mbox parameter or profile attribute to capture the logged in status.

This can be used in conjunction with customer attributes authentication states  if you would like or else just capture the status in an mbox parameter using methods described in Methods

For example, see this Customer Attributes demo.

Log-in as “weretailvip@gmail.com” and use “Adobe” as Company Name and leave the default number.

You will see an mbox parameter called auth which tracks log-in state and is then used in segmentation – the mbox parameter is just set via Launch.

Hope this helps.
