Why is the installation process so difficult?

Hi,

   I've been trying to get LC installed for the past week or so with no luck? I don't usually have problems installing things but this is pissing me off. Why can't Adobe make is easier to install LiveCycle.

I can't find anywhere on Adobe's website with installation guides. What is the point of selling this product to me when I can't even use it!!!!

Installation instructions are on the actual trial download page along with a link to a getting started guide. The  LiveCycle Developer Center is full of helpful resources: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle There you'll find videos, documetentation, samplest,echnical guides ect.  Not sure what you downloaded and installed but the JBoss Turnkey solution is the quickest way to get up and running with LiveCycle because it comes bundled ( & installs) the web app server (JBoss) and the database (MySQL) .  Here's a link to the install/confg guide for JBoss turnkey: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/installturnkey.pdf.  Here you will find all the install and conf. guides for all LCES2 downloads: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/lc_ia_list.html
