The form I have created looks wonderful in the design screen, but "T" appears next to all text fields in the preview screen, "N" appears next to numeric fields, etc.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this? My coworkers and I are working under a strict deadline and are beyond baffled...
Thank you!

Did you remove the field labels completely?

Herein probably lies the problem...I do not know how to do this. All I can find in the "Help" area is how to add them, which I don't think we did in the first place.
I'm sure this is an easy fix...I'm just really frustrated that I can't figure it out.

expand your text field for a moment and look to the LHS of the orange line where the name of the field appears and see if the T is still there. If you need to grab the orange line and move to the right (in the box) so that you can see all of the field name. Highlight the T and delete. Move the orange line back to the left and re-format the size of your field.

That means you are not using the default text or numeric fields captions.
In this case make the fields without captions using layout pallet not by drag the orrange line.
Select the field and select the Position as NONE in the layout pallet under Caption TAB. Hope this will help.

Raghu,
I have just recently up graded to Adobe 9 pro. When I go to my fill able forms in livecycle, I am not able to change the text. It only allows me to edit the fill able fields. How do I edit the text on the form? I use to be able to.
Thank you,
