strange tab order

I've created a form with multiple pages.

Actually it's 2 forms in 1 document

Each form is created in a seperate subform (flowed) and i created subforms (placed) for each group of questions.

Now i have a strange problem with the tab order.

I've checked the tab order and it looks OK

But when i want to go from question 8.5 on page 2 to the next question 9.1 on page 3, then i end up on page 5 of that form (that's the latest page).

And when i continue to tab on that page 5 and type a tab in the latest question on that page, i go back to page 3.

From page 3 i go to page 4, but from page 4 i go back to page 1.

Is this a bug in Livecycle/acrobat?

Or do i have to change my layout or anything else???

Hi,

There are a lot of discussions on the forums in relation to tab order.

My personal preference is to stick with the Automatic tab order. When going this route you just need to appreciate that the order will be affected by the relative x/y coordinates of objects (working from the top left to the bottom right) and that once inside a subform, the tab order will go through all objects in that subform before coming back out into the rest of the form.

I know that you can set up a custom tab order, but I find that this can very easily go out of sequence.
