Revealing Instance in Dynamic form

I have created a form with multiple subforms. One of these subforms has a button that creates another instance of this subform. This all works fine. Within the subform, I have three check boxes that after being marked the reveal text fields. The text fields can be filled out and saved. When I open this form up, the text fields are hidden and the check boxes are duplicated as many times as the instance was duplicated. Does this question make any sense and what am I doing wrong?

This happens when you use a global binding and set the parent container to repeat for each data item.
