The question is regarding the returning PDF after a Submit:
1. The user clicks the submit button
2. The PDF gets submitted via HTTP to a Servlet
3. LiveCycle Forms is used to extract data and create a new PDF
4. The servlet returns the resulting PDF back to the submitter
If the PDF was submitted within a browser, the browser window gets refreshed with the new PDF.
If the PDF was submitted from standalone Reader/Acrobat a new window is opened.
In the standalone environment, is there a way to force Reader not to open a new Reader window but to display the resulting PDF in the same window?
