Need dialog box with click event to fire before main form

Hey guys...New to LiveCycle, but have some .Net programming experience.

I have a rather involved form that user needs to fill out and submit values via email (btn event at end of form).

However, we need the user to acknowledge that they must have previously filled out a statement of security policy prior to even beginning the form itself.

After reading up a bit here, I'm thinking we'd use some type of dialog that would fire on the docready action...User would be forced to check a box that implies their acknowledgement, and then the Continue button is activated. Also, text in dialog would provide a URL to the security policy document elsewhere on our intranet. The checked checkbox would enable the button to forward you to the actual form itself.

Is there a set of instructions anywhere that can walk me through these steps?

thanks!

keith
