Does anyone know of a way to automate the conversion of XDP Designer forms to PDF Designer forms?

You can do save as PDF instead of XDP...

or

if you want to use code to convert xdp to pdf here is the object you need

I wish to save as XDP so as to take advantage of external referenced fragments.  I will take a careful look at the documentation you referenced.

Well if you wish just to save it as pdf, you should be able to do Save As...

in the option save as type: choose PDF file
