Insert Page Issue

When using the insert-> new page command, adobe live cycle disrupts the order of pages in my worksheet. There is a page I would like to remain as page #1 in the file. The problem is insert new page, adds a new page in the wrong order. I never recall having this problem before using live cycle in the past. See the image below to clearly illustrate the problem.

Try posting a screenshot with your Hierarchy pallette open. That might give us a better idea.

I am having this same issue today of inserting pages: 2 pages appear in the wrong order. Has anyone addressed this question? Can someone help?

This is an effect of the pagination settings of the existing pages and/or subforms. You should check those settings. For most cases its the best to keep the default settings "Following Previous" and "Continue Filling Parent".
