I have seen answers for this question, but nothing that helps me specifically for what I want. I am new to Livecycle (Previously used Adobe Acrobat Pro to make interactive forms)
In Adobe I used to be able to easily create a customised email with Javascript
Properties > Action
Trigger: Mouse Up
Action: Run a Javascript
var cToAddr = "EXAMPLE";
var cSubLine = "FORM NAME - " + this.getField("XXXXXX").value;
var cBody = "Dear XXXXX" + ",\n\n" + "Please find attached the FORM NAME for " + this.getField("EXAMPLE").value + "\n\nThank you";
this.mailDoc({bUI: true, cTo: cToAddr, cSubject: cSubLine, cMsg: cBody});
I understand with Livecycle I click on the button and go to Script Editor.
Show: click
Now in the top line of the script editor it has:
form1.Page1.Button1::click - (JavaScript, client)
I am wondering how I know write the javascript to tell it to do what I was doing before. because nothing is working for me Hopefully this makes sense and someone can help me out! Thanks in advance!
