Image field resizing problem

Avatar

Level 2

I am developing a form where I have and expanding text field followed

by an image field, followed by another expanding text field.

All working well except image field

Whatever combination of 'flowing' and 'allow page breaks' I use the image field either geys huge or dissapears.

I am using 'scale image proportionally' as the image will be a photo so cannot de 'distorted' and will be too complex for users to edit image to correct size.

I am using a dummy 'click here to insert picture' jpeg as default image

Advice much appreciated - can't see how to attach the form to this question?

You need to wrap the each field (TextField and Image) inside a subform which is set its content type to Flowed (top to bottom) and in the Layout properties check the Expand Height Checkbox.

Set each field's (TextField and Image) Layout properties check the Expand Height Checkbox.

Set the Page Subform content type to Flowed (top to bottom)...

Refer to the below sample.

Thanks for that.

Unfortunately when I inset an image (approx 600kb jpg - attached) it puts it on page 3?

No content on 1 or 2

File is available at

http://www.type-high.co.uk/pdf/Farm Resource Plan - Opportunity with button.pdf

When I insert a new picture it puts it in box which is far too large vertically

You need to remove the expand to fit for the Height in the Layout for the Image to fix the vertically growing issue.

I tried to fix the issue in the attached file. You can have a look at the properties for the Image Field and test.
