Hiding border on header of table

I as able to hide individual borders on cells but it doesnt seem to work for headers.is there a way to hide the borders on the headers?

It is just the same as normal cells, but don't forget, every cell has it's own border, so in case you have 2 columns, if you want to hide the corder in the middle, you have to take off the right border of the left cell, and the left border of the right cell.

I figured it out.I realized I had to remove the borders first from the entire table then individual cells.
