Formatting a Numeric Field as a %

Avatar

Level 2

Hello!  I am very new to LiveCycle Designer and am super impressed with its capabilities.  However, I can't figure out how to allow a numeric field to have three digits, but not display as 050%.  That is, I want it to display as a percentage, but I don't want the 0 in front of the number if it only should have 2 places.  I do, however, want it to display 100% rather than 1 if that is what is entered (or if it calculates to that amount).  Thank you for any help you can provide!!

Have you tried the "num.percent{}" option in the Display Patterns? While clicked on your numeric field click on the Patterns button on the Object Palette.

WOW! Thanks so much. I actually used the other tip you sent someone

else about putting "zero{}" in the display pattern too and now it works

perfectly!!! Thanks! :):)
