Flash Multicast in Collaboration service

Hi.

Does the Collaboration Service support multicast?

My understanding has been that you can do p2p streaming using the rtmfp protocol and have clients served a new rtmp stream from the service if they can't reach the rtmfp stream from another client.

But can mutlicast be enabled as well?

Hi Jan,

Yes we do support multicast with NetGroups with our player 10.1 swc. You need to turn on multicast in streamManager in a room i.e. set streamManager.streamMulticast = true .
