Hi There,
Say I've got a PDF, with a Dark background, which is a gradient.
I'd like to have a dropdown which is:
- a Sunken box
- White font colour (so it can be seen against the dark background)
- Transparent background (so you can see the gradient)
I'm finding that the default background for transparent fields is always "White"... This means when I click to dropdown the list, I can't read my text
Example below:

Is there a way to design around this?
Thanks

Hello,
You can do the following changes in the dropdownlist object to satisfy your requirements i.e.
for a Sunken box :
you can select the Object palette > field > Appreance > Choose Sunken Box
White font colour :
for white font color first you select the text then right click on that then select the Font option then a font palette will appear
from that you can change the font color.
Transparent background :
for this select Border palette > Background Fill > style > select solid then choose the color according to your requirement.
Thanks,
Debadas.

Thanks .. I know I can do it all individually.
But check my example ... the background when you dropdown is white, with white text. This makes it pretty hard to see what you are trying to select.
Any ideas?

Hi,
Have a look at this image of my PDF:
https://acrobat.com/#d=kOPAkYjFE9F3b8EmzKscTg
There are two dropdowns:
The first has Transparent background with white text, but the background to the list is white when it drops down. You cannot read the options
The second has a black background ... as you can see, it looks poor against the gradient background..
Thoughts?
