I have a form that I built in Adobe Illustrator. I programed it to pass the field values to read only fields in a different part of the form. These values are also encoded into a QR code that is updated when the information on the form is filled out. The form works great in Acrobat DC, but the QR Code is not being updated in Reader. Can LiveCycle Designer enable this QR code into it's dynamic form in Adobe Reader DC?

This can work with Reader, but only if you use LiveCycle Reader Extensions to specifically give it the 2D barcode usage right. It's not inexpensive. Neither LiveCycle Designer nor Acrobat can Reader-enable a document with this usage right. The only other software that can add the 2D barcode usage right is Datalogics' PDF Java Tookit.

Or you create you own QR-Code like this.
LiveCycle Blog: Dynamischer QR-Code in XFA-Formular//Dynamic QR code in XFA form
Note: This solution requires an interactive form with floating layout, so you cannot use it on a form with an imported PDF artwork.
