Copy and paste text from Word into Text field

My users want to copy large amount of formatted text, bullets/numbering and a table into a text field.  When pasted it loses all the formatting and they can't paste a table.  Is there a way to get around this, is it possible?  Thanking all in advance,

You can set the Field Format to Rich Text on the Field tab of the Object palette.

This will allow pasting formatted text in but won't do tables that I know of. I'm not sure if there's a way to get a full table in.
