Convert PDF to XDP

Hi everyone,

How can I convert a PDF form to XDP and keep almost the same size of the PDF  ?

I went File >Save As and change save as type to Adobe XML form(.xdp)...

The original PDF size was 255KB, when I saved as xdp it balloned to 2.499MB

and when I tried Publish to Repository instead of Save As the size is 2.3MB

Can somone please help me...

There are default settings in Designer that will embed the fonts into the PDF so that is probably the bulk of the size difference. Look under the File/Form Properties/Save Options. There is also a check box for accessibility. That will also cause your pdf to grow. Turn that off if it is not required.

Thats what I suspected when the size just

became very big, but all those options are unchecked..So No Embeded Fonts, No Log Files, Bo Accessibility Information.

Then I wil need to see the PDF to see what is happening. Can you save the file as an XDP format and email it to me? I think I know why but I need it in that format to confirm. Send it to LiveCycle8@gmail.com
