Can not login BAM after installation (turkey-weblogic)

Maybe it's wrong place. But hope someone can help.

I've installed lc 8.2 trial update 1 weblogic/mysql using turkey/express mode. All links work fine except the two BAM links. I got 404 error at the beginning. After manually config the BAM server following the help documentation at http://www.adobe.com/go/learn_lc_installWebLogic_82 (page 33), I am able to see the login page of bam workbench. Unfortunatelly, I am still not able to login in using the default system/manager account. Anyone can help?

what I did so far:

* Configured bam.properties according  to the Guide Provided for Web Logi mentioned above.

* Confgigured a new server instance in weblogic console: BAMServer1

* Created a new database in an external mysql (not LC mysql database) and create a new user with all privileges;

* Configured  the data source com.celequest.metadata.metaDatasource to connect to the new database created above.
* Installed BAM according  to the Guide Provided for Web Logic.
* Configured the BAM username and  password to default @ [Home >
Services > LiveCycle Process Management  ES > Server Settings > BAM Configuration Settings].
    User Name:  system
    Password: manager
* Restarted both LC Server and BAM Server
* OS: Windows XP
* LC installation: Turnkey for weblogic
* LC  Version: 8.2.1.2

my datasource configurations:

Name:  IDP_DS
JNDI Name: IDP_DS
Targets: LCServer1, BAMServer1

Name:  com.celequest.metadata.metaDatasource
JNDI Name:  com.celequest.metadata.metaDatasource
Targets: BAMServer1

LCServer1  is the LC instance
BAMServer1 is the BAM instance

Am I  missing something?

(someone met with this same problem at google LC Developer group: http://groups.google.com/group/livecycle/browse_thread/thread/5f7bf667918461de?pli=1)

Thanks!!!

Can you try to login as Administrator/password?

Hi Jasmin,

I tried Administrator/password you suggested, but got the following message:

"The username you have entered is incorrect. Please re-enter your username and password."

Here, the username is incorrect, either.

Jasmin, what do you think will cause this problem? Is the system/manager stored in database or just configured in the adminui->..->BAM Configuration Settings?

* My BAM Configuration Settings:

BAM Host: localhost

BAM Port: 9001

LiveCyelc Server Host: localhost

LiveCycle Server SOAP Port: 8001

User Name: system

Password: manager

* My bam.properties is:

SMTP Host=smtp.gmail.com
SMTP From Address=egate01@gmail.com
SMTP User=egate01@gmail.com
Logging Directory=servers/BAMServer1/logs
Recovery Log Directory=servers/BAMServer1/logs
Log File Prefix=bam
Recover State on Restart=true
Enable Checkpoint=true
Admin Keystore Location=admin.jks
Keystore Location=user_sample.jks
Keystore Password=8deb5102f8
User PrivateKey Password=8deb5102f8

For admin.jks and user_sample.jks, I am using those default ones in C:\Adobe\LiveCycle8.2\weblogic\user_projects\domains\LCDomain folder.

Will keystore cause the problem?

I've been stuck here for 2 weeks. Please help. Any documentation/articles will help as well.

Thanks a ton!

Did not see any errors/exceptions in the BAMServer1.log file. (C:\Adobe\LiveCycle8.2\weblogic\user_projects\domains\LCDomain\servers\BAMServer1\logs\BAMServer1.log)

I attached the log file. Please review.<Oct 20, 2009 3:17:30 PM EDT>

Any other places I need to check?

thanks!!!

Jasmin,

thank you very much. I found problem in the BAMSserver1.out log file. It's caused by my keystore file path configuration. Now I am able to log in using system/manager now.

Thanks again!
