autogenereate a barcode

I have not used barcodes on a PDF form -  but i would like to see if it is possible to serialize a PDF form using serail number data from an external source  and have the data appear as a bar code (say three of 9 - or some other type of bar code )  along the bottom or , better yet, vertically along the side of the document.

(along the side , vertically - so it can be run through a swipe reader easily ) .....

I am familiar with importing XML data and filling out xfa forms in general  -

I havent seen much about bar codes and PDF forms - but i have seen a few references to it on these posts . - so I thought I would ask . for some additional information .

You will want to use the PaperForms Barcode on the Standard palette. This will allow you to determine what fields make up the barcode and will update when anything in those fields changes. You can determine how you want the data stored  (XML, comma delimited etc..).

It is well documented so give it a try and if you have issues do not hesitate to ask.
