I am designing an interactive insurance verification form for a medical company. They need to be able to fill out the form and then they need a button that says "Scan Additional Paperwork"
This button idealy would bring up a scanner interface and allow the user to then scan additional documents into the displayed PDF and have them append to it at the bottom. They can then send the form with the new scanned pages to the verifications dept.
I tried making a button with the (app.execMenuItem("Scan"); script), but that only pulls up the custom scan window. The user would then have to select the option to append the scan to the current document and then navigate to the open document. That is too cumbersome for most users.
