API for data connection update on xdp file

I have a bunch of xdp files and xsd files in the file system.

If I was doing things manually, I can open an xdp file in LC Designer.

It tells me that the XML Schema used to create data connection has changed and do I

want to update the xdp file. Click yes and it updates the XDP file.

Are there any APIs that I can use to run this outside of designer and get the same result?

We have a lot of forms and doing this manually takes a lot of time.
