Another NOOOB Question...Re-using data entered on form

I have hunted and just can't come across this solution.  Sorry to ask what is probably a simple question to most on this forum.  I have an 8 page document that the enduser has to enter their name and some demographic info on the cover page.  I then want to use that data on the following pages in the header and\or footer.  Any ideas where I should go to get this answer?  I have about run the length of my short attention and patience span.  Thanks.

Give the fields the same name and on the Binding tab of the Object Palette change the Default Binding to "Global" on one of them.
