Adobe 8.3.2 to Adobe 9.4 upgrade issue

Hi All,

I have XDP builts on 8.0 + and above compatable in the live cycel designer. We were working on 8.3.2 before. The forms were working as expected.

We recelty upgraded to 9.4.

The problems started to pur in.

The PDF's are getting locked, after we save and close.,

As long as they remain OPEN, we were able to play around.

But once a PDF is saved --> closed --> reopened. The form feilds are disbaled.

Please let me know, whats going wrong with the javascript or reader settings etc.

Hi,

  this might be happenning because of version incompatibility.

Goto File -> Form properties ->Defaults (Tab)

select Target version  - Choose the form to run in : select the version Acrobat and Adobe version 8.0 or later.

This might work.

I have done it as 9.0 and above.

Still no luck, it didnt worked.

dont select 9.0 & above. Select 8.0 or 8.2 there and test it again

In this case,

am not able to render the PDF in internet explorer.

The internet options are checked to open the PDF in browser,

but the pdf always opens in application window, throwing an alert message.

Once we click "OK " on the javascript pop window,

then i the pdf appears in internet explorer.

So, i have tried on compatibilty for 8.0 and above,

9.0 and above.

When they both didnt worked, i came here to forum.
