is it possible to sign a PDF which is PDF 1.2 standard?

Hi Andrej, I beleve this is possible.



In theory, the PDF reference/specification mandates that backwards compatibility should always be kept in subsequent releases of any PDF viewer application (e.g. Acrobat).



I guess that the above should apply even to a server-side PDF tool like DSS is...

Digital signatures were added in PDF 1.3, so you'll have to convert your PDF 1.2 document to at least 1.3 in order to be able to sign it digitally.
