In my form, I have two Text boxes: one for the alpha symbol, one for the beta symbol.
When I select "Symbols" from my list of fonts OR when I copy/paste into the Text box from my character map, it displays the symbol without a problem. They appear on my Design View tab just as they should.
BUT - When I go to click "PDF Preview", these symbols vanish.
These Text boxes are set up with no borders or fill and do not overlap anything within the subform. I can see my gridlines in the background of the symbols. Also, I have Reader 8 as my default viewer.
Can anyone explain how to get these to appear? Never had an issue with 7.1...but now with Designer 8, I can't get them to show!
