Wet Signature

A PDF form on a salesperson's laptop requires customers to sign via a signature pad. Would simply connecting a signature pad to the laptop allow users to sign the PDF form in Adobe Reader or is there more to this? What is required to get the signature field to recognize and accept input from a signature pad? Thanks.

Depends on the signature pad ....I am no expert in these matters but there may be a need to load a plugin for Acrobat/Reader that interfaces with the pad. Once that is in you would have to configure Acrobat to use the signature pad.

I just installed a signature pad and it had an installation cd compatible with Adobe Reader.

Are you using Acrobat or Reader with the pad? What configuration did you have to do after installing the CD?
