Is it possible to import data from one form into another form that similar but has some slight differences?
For example I have a form that is supposed to be used on a PC by the front office that connects to a data base. This form has an Add and an Update button as well. I want to make a copy of the form that designers will use on the Mac where the data connection is removed from the form and the Add and Update buttons either removed or made invisible.
I have tried doing this and filling out the designer version of the form in Acrobat, then exporting the data. I then have tried to import the date into the front office version of the form but nothing happens.
I'm working with Acrobat 8 and LiveCycle Designer 8.
