Can anyone point me to the fastest method for taking a User's GUID and finding the actual name of that user? The GUID is what's returned by the User component when you choose "Save Task Completed By User ID in:" in the Mapping tap, i.e. "5AE029B1-D881-1E5F-6FDC-6100288FABF7". I am providing an external application with task and user tracking data, and they need an actual name.
Currently, I have a "registration form" that I fill out once for each user, which grabs their ID and stores it and their name in a lookup table. The tracking system then refers to that table to provide the external app with the name of the user. It's functional, but definitely not the ideal solution.
