Multiple records in reader

Hi all,



I have a utility that converts the jetform .dat files to XML, this seems to work fine for individual records. But I have .dat files with ^eject's in them and need to produce an appropriate xml output.



I am looking for a way to add a record in reader, or for that matter to navigate records in reader. Once I have this I will be able to view what my output should look like.



A simple example might be a fax form, where each page is a record.



Does anyone know how to add and navigate records in Reader?



The Adobe documentation lacks specifics on this as far as I can see.

To clarify one point.



There is no database involved. I just want to add a record to the XFA dom, each record represents a completed form instance. This is saved and loaded to an XML file.
