LiveCycle in the UK

I am an IT Trainer living and working in the UK with some experience of teaching the LiveCycle Designer, Forms and Workflow courses. I had a few courses to teach in the 2nd quarter of 2006 but nothing since. I have been given my work through Adobe.



Does anyone have any insight or opinion about why Adobe have received no training requests in the UK and (apparently) have no visibility of requirements in the coming year? Is LiveCycle not marketed well in the UK? Is it so easy and obvious that developers do not require training? Is there no requirement for this type of product in the UK? Are the training (and consulting) requirements satisfied by Adobe partners rather than Adobe direct?



Any ideas?

Neil,

Perhaps there are a lot of folks like us, who tried it and didn't like

it. And who aren't big enough to throw lots of resources at it so found

another solution.



We got LiveCycle Designer in the CS bundle, and at first it seemed as if

it was going to be a Godsend.



I tried really hard to get on with it because we wanted to go paperless

and do lots of electronic forms. I came to detest LiveCycle and we have

voted to go with a web solution instead as it is far easier.
