email form doesn't send

Using Designer 7.0 and Outlook 2002 (XP) sending through our Exchange 200 server.

When I create a form with an e-mail button it gathers the information correctly, opens a new message window from Outlook with the proper attachment, title and address. But nothing happens when I click Send.

It doesn't seem to matter if Outlook has been started or is minimized or is open in it's own window.

When I close the New Message window I get a pop-up telling me that it was sent to my e-mail program, but it doesn't appear to have ever made the connection.

If you get a new message window then it was sent successfully to the email program. Are you sure the email isn't just sitting in the outbox waiting to be sent?

Yes I'm sure. The New Message opens with he correct name & address & attachment, but nothing happens when you click Send (the button does "depress"). It doesn't get moved to Outlook's Outbox and there is no record of it in Sent Items.

It just sits there.
