I have a drop down list in a form with 3 items in the list. I want to keep those three items in the list but when I connect to the data base those items get replaced with others I assume from the data base.
The items in my drop down list are as follows.
Limited Permission
Creative Works Unlimited
Commission for Creative Works
The drop down list is bound to a field in the data base.
Right now there are two records in the data base both of which have Creative Works Unlimited as their value. When I open the form either in Preview mode or in Acrobat 8 I get the following list in the drop down list
Creative Works Unlimited
Creative Works Unlimited
I would like to know how to keep my original items in the list but have the item from the record in the data base display as the choice in the drop down in my form.
I'm not creating the list from the data base with any code in the form.
Can anyone give me some help on how to solve this?
