I used Adobe LiveCycle for the first time yesterday. Once in a blue moon when I'm at work, someone will ask me if I can add text fields to a PDF so that they can easily type onto it. I always did that directly in Acrobat. But I was curious about Adobe LiveCycle since it came with CS3. So I altered the PDF in this program this time. Is this the better program for that kind of task? I didn't go in-depth enough to discover whether it had more features for that sort of thing than Acrobat Pro had or not. I'm not even familiar enough with LiveCycle to know what its main purpose is and how it compares to Acrobat. If anyone wanted to give me a clue about it, I'd appreciate it!
