I opened up an exisiting pdf file which is an application form (originally a paer form) in LiveCycle Design and had it automatically detect and place fields. It did an amazing job of finding and placing text fields in all the right places but it seemed to ignore check boxes. That is, in places where the pdf form had check boxes, LifeCycle just ignored them.
This suggests that I have to put the check box elements in manually. When I do so, do I just place the LifeCycle check box element OVER the check boxes on the original pdf? Do I have to do it manually and if so is that the best way to do it?
