change event isn't fired after setting rawValue of field

Hi,



After setting the value of a textfield manually, the change event is fired. However, if I set the textfield's rawValue, its change event is NOT fired. Which is what I need badly.



If it's a bug: is there a simple workaround except from using the 'validate' event? Or did I misunderstood the concept of the change event?
