Broken hyperlink from Acrobat Pro7.0 to Designer 7.0

I have a hyperlink in a document coming from InDesign the is actually a mailto link. It appears and works perfectly in Acrobat Pro 7.0 but when it is sent into Designer 7.0 the link is truncated. The link is of the form:

xxxxxxxxx.xxxx.xxx@yyy.com

The truncation appears at the first period to the left of the @ symbol. Since I can't edit it in Acrobat Pro is there any way to fix this link?

Thanks,

Thanks MarkATS.

I have yet nother obstacle to overcome... I want to take the contents of one of the text fields in the form and use it as the subject of the email return. I created a button to email the completed PDF form using mailto: and I want to use the contents on a field in the ?subject. Any ideas?

TIA

You can set the mailto: URL programmatically, and that URL contains the subject line.

For example:

EmailSubmitButton1.resolveNode("#event.submit").setAttribute("mailto:someOne@someWhere.com;subject=Some Subject", "target");
