I didn't ask for the "pencil" icon (it doesn't seem to be an icon, object, or image according to the Help menu) to appear in the text fields. What do I select (or deselect) to get rid of it? The "pencil" text fields also displays gibberish symbols instead of standard alphanumeric text.
