AEP Objects Migration from one instance to Another

Hi Team,

We have done all the configuration like Schemas, Data Source and other configuration within one Sandbox called "Dev". and now wanted to move to "Prod" and Go Live.

Is there any mechanism to promote all my Dev configurations to Prod or something like package export  then importing into Production.

Thanks,

Rishabh

Hi Rishab,

The Schema Registry API allows you to transfer and share XDM resources between sandboxes and IMS Organizations. For any schema, field group, or data type, you can generate an export payload containing the structure of the resource and any dependent resources. This payload can then be used to import the resource into a destination sandbox and IMS Org.

Hi Raja,

Thanks for your input. But it mainly focus on schemas. I would like to know is there any mechanism for other configurations to move like Data source and destination setup and merge rules and segment from instance to other.

Thanks,

No, Adobe Experience Platform doesn't have package management natively for all the configurations carried out . Hopefully, Adobe will get to add it as a feature soon? Who knows?
