enable Launch environment switch for DTM property pointing to Launch

we just started our first migration test from DTM to Launch. We used the SearchDiscovery assessment tool prior to the migration - and this is very helpful.

But with the first "environment" test we already ran into the issue that the DTM switch is pointing to our DTM libraries, and does not recognize our Launch environments. As SearchDiscovery states on their help website for the DTM switch:

As this isn't working, the workaround is to overload the DTM library with the Launch library through remote mapping with Charles. And this works fine... you can then choose your Launch environment to overload - and thus test...

Would however be much more practical for testing if the DTM switch would handle this case...  I assume more customers will start migrating and will run into the same issue...

Thank you for raising this issue.  I investigated and made the code change today.  There should be an update (of the Launch and DTM switch) coming your way in the next few days.  I just need to run the change through our internal code review and testing process.

I'm going to change this idea to archived since neither of the products you mentioned are actually owned or managed by Adobe. Luckily, we've got awesome folks like Stewart on the community that can speak for their own products/services.

We also need to update our website.  The technical details were not known in March of this year when we wrote that.

They have been available for some time now, so this issue is on us, Search Discovery, and me, personally...

Thanks for the reaction... I just popped up this question over here, because they suggested on their website that they were waiting for the Adobe Launch team for some info...
